Atomos is now fightable at the following locations.
  • Camp Brittlebark, Mor Dhona
  • Camp Revenant's Toll, Mor Dhona
  • Camp Ever Lakes, Coerthas Central Lowlands
  • Camp Glory, Coerthas Eastern Lowlands
  • Camp Bluefog, Northern Thanalan

  • Atomos pops @ 6:00 and 12:00 for Blue Aetheryte Camps, 18:00 and 0:00 for Red Aetheryte Camps w/ him fightable at the above locations.
  • Killing it makes a clickable Voidstone on the world, gives you the new cluster item and 20 achievement points.
  • Killed @ Bluefog on Durandal, voidstone pops for everyone (doesn't matter who claimed Atomos for the voidstone, dunno if there's a lodestone history thing because we didn't get claim) to get your overaspected cluster and achievement. Essentially it's a DPS race.
  • The mobs that Atomos spawns other monsters that are bigger in size that can drop Over-aspected Crystals which can now be turned into your GC company for 1k seals per 4 crystal, 3k seals per cluster.
  • I got Haste for 30 mins. other people got 5 crystals other peopel got 20 animas. 3k per cluster…. 4 crystals for 1000

Trade them to one of the NPCs in the town. I assume whichever corresponds to your Grand Company's HQ, but you can try the ones in Ul'Dah.

I went over to Storm Sergeant Solkinsyn at the position designated at the above link. Spoke with him and got the options of "Submit over-aspected cystals" and "Submit over-aspected clusters."

Here is some more info, though is uses Ul'dah NPCs in its description. Just swap out for the relevant Grand Company NPC to you.
